What I am saying is this may in fact be the entire collection (but not the entire series). It could be that Viz was losing money on these comics and stopped making them before the series completed. They do seem rather rare. I don't think this collection is necessarily incomplete, unless you can actually find someone selling issues after 56.

Then I will buy them Saturday and post pictures of them on here and let you guys decide if I only expanded my collection or if I hit a gold mine! :D

You said by 56 they are in the Tien saga. If that's all he has then it's not the entire Dragon Ball series(not Z portion) since we're missing King Piccolo and Piccolo jr.

Yes, but if there is no issue 57, that means it is a complete run: the complete run of the Viz comic book release. Which is not equal to the whole series. I mean really Toriyama released the whole series under a single heading so if we divide it at Raditz there's no reason we can't divide it somewhere else. Any way the point of these comics is not to have a complete run (which you can get for free at numerous websites); he just thinks they're cool, and if this is the entire comic release I would not say there's anything misleading about calling it 'the entire collection'.

I see what you mean, but see what I mean though? Lol anyone would get confused because we would assume the guy is talking about the entire series of Dragon Ball.

Yeah, I see what you both mean. We have to take in consideration both aspects. It's not like this is the only series of comic books cut off at a certain point due to any reason, right?

I didn't even know there were "comics" of DBZ!!!!
